BEECHAC is a new organization which intends to provide the following: (1) an Australian community for people with Bladder Exstrophy, Epispadias, Cloacal Exstrophy or Hypospadias and to provide support and advice for their family members and friends, (2) collaborate with health care professionals such as surgeons, physician’s psychologists, nurses and allied health services to gain their support and work together to improve the care and treatment for BEECHAC members and their families, and (3) generate public awareness of these health conditions, including in educational settings such as pre schools, infants school, primary and secondary school and higher education centres such as TAFE colleges and universities. Awareness raising in work places is also needed for our members to ensure they have quality provision for their specific needs.
