Election of 2012 HEA Board
The election of the HEA Board has been completed. The HEA Bylaws require that the HEA Board be elected by current HEA members, while the Executive Board (Officers) are chosen at the first meeting of the HEA Board. The new HEA Board met on January 7, 2012, and the following people volunteered to serve as officers: Tiger Devore (President), Doug Jasper (Vice-President), Cherise O'Kennedy (Secretary), Jim Lake (Treasurer). The Board is also responsible for appointing the HEA Staff. The HEA Board reappointed Billy Deegan as Executive Director and Betty Engel as Webmaster at the January 7th meeting. As in the past, all members of the HEA Board and Staff are volunteers.
