Find People Like You
Is there a local support group in my area?
Any information
we have about local support groups will be posted on our Resources
page. If there isn't a local support group in your area, please make
use of HEA's message board (registration is simple and free!) to find
others in your area who may be interested in starting a group with you.
If you are an HEA member, you can also access the member database from
the People page of the website. [Sorry—this isn't working on the new
site yet.]
I feel alone. Where can I find other people in my situation?
Although
genital abnormalities are quite common, they are rarely discussed
openly, which makes everyone--individuals and their families--sometimes
feel isolated and alone. One of the main goals of HEA is to create a
community where people don't feel alone, so here is the place to find
other people in your situation. Visit the message board or drop by one
of the regularly scheduled online chats, where you will find lots of
other people in a similar situation. The message board and online chat
are open to everyone (HEA membership not required) and are completely
free! Trying to find people in your area? Join HEA and you can access
the member database from the People page of the website.
